Soul Slaughter is an upcoming independent horror feature written and directed by Michael Ianieri and produced under RareMountain Films in association with RareMountain Studios.
Set in the quiet town of Cedar Creek, the film follows a tormented man drawn back to the site of a past massacre — a place marked by an ancient presence that feeds on darkness. As the protective flame of a ritual candle begins to flicker, reality fractures, paranoia spreads, and a malevolent force closes in.
At its core, Soul Slaughter is a grounded supernatural horror film rooted in psychological tension, atmosphere, and practical dread — blending modern indie grit with classic horror mythology.
